Stegana (Steganina) mailangang Li & Chen , sp. nov.

( Figs. 11C, 11D, 49)

Diagnosis. This species slightly resembles S. (S.) cyclophylla Chen & Chen, 2009 in the shape of hypandrium, pregonite, and subepandrial sclerite (as figs. 9–11 in Chen & Chen 2009, Fig. 49C, D, G), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the aedeagus distally with some minute, serrated processes ( Fig. 49C, D); the aedeagal sheath lacking serrated process ( Fig. 49E, F).

Description. Male: First flagellomere black. Clypeus yellow. Mesonotum black medially, dark brown laterally ( Fig. 11C). Katepisternum yellowish ( Fig. 11D). Scutellum black ( Fig. 11C). Halter mostly black ( Fig. 11D). Fore femur with a row of 3 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites black ( Fig. 11C, D); sternites brown, about 2 times as wide as long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 49): Epandrium with ca. 14 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 49A). Surstylus with 1 peg-like tooth near distal margin and some setulae distally, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 49A, B). Cercus with much pubescence ( Fig. 49A). Hypandrium roundly expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 49C, D). Pregonite fused with hypandrium, with 3 sensilla ( Fig. 49C, D). Aedeagus roundly expanded distally, with some pubescence distoventrally ( Fig. 49C, D). Subepandrial sclerite vaulted, expanded dorsally ( Fig. 49G).
