Stegana (Steganina) fuscipes Li & Chen View in CoL , sp. nov.

( Figs. 9A, 9B View FIGURE 9 , 41 View FIGURE 41 )

Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) multiprocera sp. nov. in the shape of male terminalia ( Figs. 41 View FIGURE 41 , 53 View FIGURE 53 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the frons entirely brownish, not shiny; the palpus large and dark brown distally ( Fig. 9B View FIGURE 9 ); the pleura, katepisternum, and legs mostly dark brown to black ( Fig. 9B View FIGURE 9 ); the aedeagus with 4 pairs of processes basolaterally ( Fig. 41C, D View FIGURE 41 ).

Description. Male and female: First flagellomere black. Clypeus yellow. Mesonotum brown medially, yellow laterally ( Fig. 9A View FIGURE 9 ). Scutellum brown, yellow at tip ( Fig. 9A View FIGURE 9 ). Halter mostly brownish ( Fig. 9B View FIGURE 9 ). Fore femur with a row of 3 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites mostly brown ( Fig. 9A, B View FIGURE 9 ); sternites brown, about 2 times as wide as long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 41 View FIGURE 41 ): Epandrium with ca. 10 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 41A View FIGURE 41 ). Surstylus with some minute, serrated processes on outer surface, 1 peg-like tooth and several setulae near distal margin, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 41A, B View FIGURE 41 ). Cercus lacking pubescence ( Fig. 41A View FIGURE 41 ). Hypandrium slightly expanded anteromedially, with 2 spinous processes subposteromedially (pregonite?) ( Fig. 41C, D View FIGURE 41 ). Pregonite blurry or absent ( Fig. 41C, D View FIGURE 41 ). Aedeagus with much pubescence distally ( Fig. 41C, D View FIGURE 41 ). Aedeagal sheath glabrous ( Fig. 41E, F View FIGURE 41 ). Subepandrial sclerite slightly vaulted ( Fig. 41G View FIGURE 41 ).

Type materials. Holotype ♂ ( SCAU, No. 125695, DNA #2624), CHINA: Menglun, Mengla, Yunnan, GoogleMaps 21°47'29''N, 101°22'59''E, alt. 560m, 19.xii.2017, ex tree trunk, H.W. Chen. Paratype: 1♀ ( SCAU, No. 125696, DNA #2649), other data same as holotype. GoogleMaps

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Etymology. A combination of the Latin words '' fuscus " (= brown) and ''- pes " (= leg), referring to the dark brown legs.
