Diagnosis. Eighth sternite broadened, rounded distally, with several sensilla, setae, and some pubescence distolaterally ( Fig. 35E View FIGURE 35 ).

Description. Female: Clypeus brownish. Mesonotum dark brown medially, brown laterally ( Fig. 7I, J View FIGURE 7 ). Katepisternum yellow, slightly greyish below ( Fig. 7J View FIGURE 7 ). Scutellum black ( Fig. 7I View FIGURE 7 ). Halter mostly grey. Fore femur with a row of 3 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites mostly black ( Fig. 7I, J View FIGURE 7 ); sternites brownish, slightly wider than long. Female terminalia ( Fig. 35D–F View FIGURE 35 ): Epiproct with several setae, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 35D View FIGURE 35 ). Cercus with numerous setae and much pubescence ( Fig. 35D View FIGURE 35 ). Hypoproct with numerous setae and much pubescence posteriorly ( Fig. 35F View FIGURE 35 ).

Measurements and indices. Distribution. China (Sichuan).

Etymology. From the word " daiya " in Qiang language from the Qiang nationality living in Sichuan, China, referring to the meaning "a mysterious place".
