Diagnosis. Eighth sternite broadened, curlied laterally, with dense setae along posterior margin ( Fig. 35B View FIGURE 35 ).

Remarks. The terminalia of the only male specimen was partly damaged (probably eaten by a cockroach) and undescribed.

Description. Male and female: First flagellomere brown. Clypeus brownish medially, yellow laterally. Mesonotum dark brown medially, brownish laterally ( Fig. 7G View FIGURE 7 ). Katepisternum yellowish ( Fig. 7H View FIGURE 7 ). Scutellum dark brown ( Fig. 7G View FIGURE 7 ). Halter mostly grey ( Fig. 7H View FIGURE 7 ). Fore femur with a row of 4 or 5 sturdy setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites dark brown to black ( Fig. 7G, H View FIGURE 7 ); sternites brown, about 2 times as wide as long. Female terminalia ( Fig. 35A–C View FIGURE 35 ): Epiproct with several small sensilla, lacking seta and pubescence ( Fig. 35A View FIGURE 35 ). Cercus and hypoproct with numerous setae and much pubescence ( Fig. 35A, C View FIGURE 35 ).

Measurements and indices. Distribution. China (Hainan).

Etymology. A combination of the Latin words " curvus " (= curved) and " tabulatus " (= plate), referring to the lateally curlied 8th sternite.
