( Figs. 14E, 14F, 65A–C)
Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) fuscipes sp. nov. in the distally large and brown palpus and the mostly brown legs ( Figs. 9B, 14F), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the mostly yellow katepisternum ( Fig. 14F); the abdominal sternites about 3 times as wide as long.
Description. Female: First flagellomere yellow on basal 1/3, brown on distal 2/3. Clypeus brownish. Mesonotum brown medially, brownish yellow laterally ( Fig. 14E). Scutellum dark brown ( Fig. 14E). Halter mostly brownish ( Fig. 14F). Fore femur with a row of 3 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites mostly dark brown ( Fig. 14E, F); sternites brown. Female terminalia ( Fig. 65A–C): Epiproct with several setae, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 65A). Cercus and hypoproct with numerous setae and much pubescence ( Fig. 65A, C). Eighth sternite slightly longer than wide, glabrous on basal 3/4, with numerous setae and much pubescence on distal 1/4 ( Fig. 65B).
