Stegana (Steganina) simola Cui & Chen View in CoL , sp. nov.
( Figs. 13I, 13J View FIGURE 13 , 62 View FIGURE 62 )
Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) cinereipecta sp. nov. in the shape of male terminalia except aedeagus and subepandrial sclerite ( Figs. 30 View FIGURE 30 , 62 View FIGURE 62 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the surstylus with numerous minute, serrated processes on outer surface and lacking pubescence ( Fig. 62A, B View FIGURE 62 ); the aedeagus distally roundly expanded, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 62C, D View FIGURE 62 ); the subepandrial sclerite slightly vaulted ( Fig. 62G View FIGURE 62 ).
Description. Male and female: First flagellomere yellow. Clypeus yellow. Mesonotum brown medially, yellow laterally ( Fig. 13I View FIGURE 13 ). Katepisternum yellowish ( Fig. 13J View FIGURE 13 ). Scutellum dark brown ( Fig. 13I View FIGURE 13 ). Halter mostly grey ( Fig. 13J View FIGURE 13 ). Fore femur with a row of 4 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites dark brown to black medially, yellow laterally ( Fig. 13I, J View FIGURE 13 ); sternites yellow, about 1.6 times as wide as long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 62 View FIGURE 62 ): Epandrium with ca. 11 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 62A View FIGURE 62 ). Surstylus with 1 peg-like tooth and numerous setulae near distal margin ( Fig. 62A, B View FIGURE 62 ). Cercus with much pubescence ( Fig. 62A View FIGURE 62 ). Hypandrium roundly expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 62C, D View FIGURE 62 ). Pregonite small, with 2 or 3 sensilla ( Fig. 62C, D View FIGURE 62 ). Aedeagus with numerous minute, serrated processes distally ( Fig. 62C, D View FIGURE 62 ). Aedeagal sheath distally with numerous minute, serrated processes ( Fig. 62E, F View FIGURE 62 ).
