Stegana (Steganina) cornuta Li & Chen , sp. nov.
( Figs. 7A, 7B, 32)
Diagnosis. This species closely resembles S. (S.) angulistrata Wu & Chen, 2010 in the shape of male terminalia (as fig. 1–6 in Wu & Chen 2010, Fig. 32), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the aedeagus medially lacking serrated process but mediolaterally with a pair of horned processes ( Fig. 32C, D); the aedeagal sheath distally slender and strongly dorsad curved ( Fig. 32E, F).
Description. Male and female: First flagellomere brown. Clypeus yellow. Mesonotum yellow ( Fig. 7A). Katepisternum yellowish ( Fig. 7B). Scutellum yellow ( Fig. 7A). Halter mostly grey ( Fig. 7B). Fore femur with a row of 3 or 4 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites brown to dark brown ( Fig. 7A, B); sternites brown, slightly wider than long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 32): Epandrium with ca. 9 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 32A). Surstylus with 1 prensiseta, several setulae, and serrated processes near distal margin ( Fig. 32A, B). Cercus lacking pubescence ( Fig. 32A). Hypandrium expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 32C, D). Pregonite small, with 2 sensilla ( Fig. 32C, D). Aedeagus rounded distally, with numerous minute, serrated processes laterally and much pubescence distoventrally and sublaterally ( Fig. 32C, D). Aedeagal sheath with some minute, serrated processes distally ( Fig. 32E, F). Subepandrial sclerite slightly vaulted, split medially ( Fig. 32G).
