Stegana (Steganina) cinereipecta Zhang & Chen , sp. nov.
( Figs. 6G, 6H View FIGURE 6 , 30 View FIGURE 30 )
Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) convena Wang, Gao, & Chen, 2013 in the shape of hypandrium and aedeagal sheath (as fig. 1C, D in Wang et al. 2013, Fig. 30B–E View FIGURE 30 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the katepisternum mostly grey, anteriorly slightly brownish ( Fig. 6H View FIGURE 6 ); the surstylus with 1 peg-like tooth near distal margin ( Fig. 30A View FIGURE 30 ); the subepandrial sclerite slightly rounded, deeply split medially ( Fig. 30F View FIGURE 30 ).
Description. Male and female: First flagellomere brown. Clypeus yellow. Mesonotum brown medially, yellow to brownish laterally in male, entirely brown to dark brown in female ( Fig. 6G View FIGURE 6 ). Scutellum brown, yellow at tip ( Fig. 6G View FIGURE 6 ). Halter mostly grey ( Fig. 6G View FIGURE 6 ). Fore femur with 3 thin, long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites dark brown ( Fig. 6G, H View FIGURE 6 ); sternites brown, about 2 times as wide as long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 ): Epandrium with ca. 17 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 30A View FIGURE 30 ). Surstylus slightly squared, lacking serrated process, with several setulae near distal margin and pubescence posteriorly ( Fig. 30A View FIGURE 30 ). Cercus with much pubescence ( Fig. 30A View FIGURE 30 ). Hypandrium expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 30B, C View FIGURE 30 ). Pregonite small, with 1 sensillum ( Fig. 30B, C View FIGURE 30 ). Aedeagus expanded distally in ventral view, with numerous minute, serrated processes basolaterally and some pubescence distoventrally ( Fig. 30B, C View FIGURE 30 ). Aedeagal sheath distally with numerous minute, serrated processes ( Fig. 30D, E View FIGURE 30 ).
