Discussion. Most specimens fit the diagnosis proposed by Deharveng (1982) for the Folsomia manolachei complex. In the alpine zone of Khamar Daban the pale form with pigmentation only on the ocelli is common. In lower altitudes, normal grey form occurs.
Distribution and ecology. In Buryatia it is a rare species recorded in southern areas ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 : loc. 3, 5, 9).
