Celebargiolestes cinctus (Selys, 1886)

Argiolestes cincta Selys, 1886 – Original description, holotype male from Minahassa, incorrectly given as »Mirabassa« (IRSNB).

Celebargiolestes cincta Selys, 1886 – KENNEDY (1925: 295f.): genus Celebargiolestes established with C. cincta as type.

Argiolestes karnyi Fraser, 1926 – Holotype: Java.

Argiolestes karnyi Fraser, 1926 – LIEFTINcK (1934: 451): junior synonym of Celebargiolestes cincta , type locality ‘Java’ deemed to be incorrect.

Argiolestes karnyi Fraser, 1926 – LIEFTINcK (1971): Lectotype for A. karnyi selected (RMNH).

Celebargiolestes cinctus Selys, 1886 – MALKMuS (2007: 15f.): recorded for Tangkoko Nature Reserve, picture of a male.
