Chrysis superba Radoszkowski 1877: 20 , nom. praeocc., nec Cresson 1865.

Type locality: “Habitat ad flumen Jaxartem”, [It was collected on Syr-Darya].

Lectotype, ♀ (not ♂): Сыръ-Даръя [Syr-Darya] <handwritten> // Сыръ-Даръя. [Syr-Darya] <printed> // Chrysis superba Rad. <handwritten red label> // nec Cresson 1865 = decora Mocs. 1889 [!], n.name <handwritten by Bohart>.

Remarks. Lectotype designated by Bohart (in Kimsey & Bohart 1991: 402). It belongs to the C. splendidula species-group.

Current status. Chrysis decora Mocsáry, 1887 , replacement name for Chrysis superba Radoszkowski, 1877 .
