Parnopes incuratus Panfilov 1969: 36 .

Type locality: [ Azerbaijan: Byandovan (70 km South-West of Baku), clay and sandy salty desert near the coast of the Caspian Sea, the 18th of June 1961 (2♀, including the holotype; D. Panfilov). Types deposited at the Zoological Museum of Moscow State University].

Lectotype, ♀: Azerbaijan: Byandovan, 18.VI.61 D. Panfilov // Parnopes incuratus sp. n. ♀ D. Panfilov det. // Lectotype Parnopes incuratus ♀ Panfilov (desig LS Kimsey '84).

Paralectotype, 1♀: Азербайджан Бяндован 18.VI.61 Д. Панфилов // Paralectotype Parnopes incuratus ♀ Panfilov (desig LS Kimsey '86).

Remarks. Lectotype designated by Kimsey (1987: 90).

Current status. Cephaloparnops vareillesi (du Buysson, 1900) (synonymized by Kimsey 1987: 90; transferred to Cephaloparnops Bischoff by Kimsey & Bohart 1991: 578).
