DIAGNOSIS: Antennae with flagellum straight, flagellomeres dark with distal margins pale, club brown. Postocular sclerite with fringe of long, brown setae extending from vertex ventrad beyond ocular division. Tegular setae erect, long, white. Pterostigmata dark. Apical field cells arranged into two to three generally irregular rows. HW margin posterad of cubital area slightly but conspicuously concave, more so in males. Males with HW threefourths the length of and slightly broader than FW. Female HW with a conspicuous triangular macula on posterior margin at bend in CuA, and smaller ones posterad of pterostigma and near terminus of MP; posterior margin maculae weakly expressed in males. Tergal maculae with bases of mesal setae marked with dark pigment. Metacoxa–sternite 1 membrane dark. Mesal setae along dorsal and ventral surfaces of abdomen slightly longer than in other species in genus.
