Features: length 59 μm, width 23 μm, striae 9 in 10 μm.

Description: Valves elliptic-lanceolate with obtusely rounded apices. Raphe straight, axial area narrow, central area round. Striae interrupted by semi-lanceolate hyaline area. Marginal striae are longer in the middle, axial striae are short composed of 2–3 areolae which are irregularly spaced. Striae parallel in the middle, becoming convergent towards apices.

Ecology and Distribution: Rare in Basra corals.
