Features: Length 80–95 μm, width 20–24 μm, striae 18–20 in 10 μm.

Description: Valves lanceolate, slightly curved with acutely rounded apices. Valve part on both side of the axial area is depressed, depression is wider in the middle and tapering towards poles. Raphe straight, slightly elevated in the upper and lower thirds of the valves. Axial area narrow, central area small and circular. Striae slightly radiate throughout, more spaced in the middle.
