Features: Length 50–60 μm, width 8–10 μm, striae 5–6 in 10 μm.

Description: Valves lanceolate with rounded apices. Raphe branches straight, apical endings hooked to one direction. Axial area narrow, central area asymmetrically dilated. Transapical striae slightly radiate at the center, becoming parallel near the apices.

Ecology and Distribution: A widely distributed marine species. Previously known from the Gulf (Al-Yamani & Saburova 2011). Rare in Basra corals.
