Features: Length 80–85 μm, width 12–13 μm, striae 14–15 in 10 μm.

Description: Valves linear-elliptic, very slightly constricted in the middle with short cuneate apices. Raphe strongly eccentric. Fibulae evenly spaced, 14–15 in 10 μm. Striae very fine and hardly resolved under light microscope. Striae crossed by broad longitudinal hyaline area occupying half of valve face leaving short striae on both margins.

Ecology and Distribution: Rare in Basra corals.
