The result from the API 20NE tests show positive for esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase, and cytochrome oxidase; but negative for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease, and β galactosidase. D- Maltose, D- glucose, N acetylglucosamine, and malic acid are utilized; but not L- arabinose, D- mannose, D- mannitol, potassium gluconate, adipic acid, capric acid, trisodium citrate, and phenylacetic acid. Strain CAU 1657 About CAU (= NIBRBAC000508837 ) was isolated from sea sediment in Masiran Beach (37°26 ʹ 01.9 ʺ N, 126°24 ʹ 53.1 ʺ E), Junggu , Incheon, Korea. The 16S rRNA gene sequence of strain CAU 1657 About CAU have been deposited in GenBank under accession numbers OK272469 GoogleMaps .
