Type material. Holotype —male, Thailand (western part), Kanchanaburi Prov., Sangkhla Buri District, environs of Tham Su Kho Cave , 150–200m, dwelling in dark zone of cave, 12.VI. 2019, coll. P. Pawangkhanant ( AUP) . Paratype —female, same data as for holotype ( AUP) .

Description. Male ( Holotype). Body larger or slightly larger than in all other members of this genus. Structure of body typical of this genus, however: apical segment of maxillary palpus shorter than half of fore femur; hind femur with twelve inner ventral non-articulated spinules and a pair of small apical denticles; armament formula of tibiae and of hind basitarsus characteristic [dea, v2 (v~2), v~2, v3a / d2a, v~2, v2, v3a / d28e-24i (d29e-26i), d2sa, 6a / d1c (d2c), dac]; inner dorsal spur of hind tibia not reaching apex of dac [= unpaired (central) dorsoapical spur of hind basitarsus]; sixth abdominal tergite normal, without posteromedian lobe; posteromedian process of seventh abdominal tergite with posterior part having 10 distinct and few almost indistinct denticles (these denticles bent downward and gradually decreasing from medial denticles to lateral ones) ( Figs 1A–C View FIGURE 1 ); paraprocts, genital plate and genitalia as in Figs 1B, D–F View FIGURE 1 .

Colouration spotted. Head dorsum brown with three dark brown spots; rostral tubercles dark brown with grayish brown area between them; genae and frons pale brown but with a pair of darkened bands from lower parts of eyes to clypeal suture as well as a pair of dark brown and widened bands from base of antennae to clypeal suture; eye black; ocelli whitish; each antenna dark brown with pale brown scape having dark brown spots near base and apex; clypeus pale brown with brown lateral areas; labrum pale brown; mandible dark brown but basally pale brown; palpi yellowish-whitish with brownish longitudinal stripe. Coxae yellowish-whitish; fore and middle femora pale brown with dark brown distal and middle parts having rounded pale brown spots; hind femur light brown with dark brown oblique stripes on outer surface and dark brown distal parts having light brown spots; all tibiae from dark brown in proximal parts to pale brown in distal parts, but proximal parts with distinct small pale brown spots; all tarsi light brown with dark brown area on apical part of each segment. Tergites brown with slightly paler lower parts and few light spots on posterior margins; sternites uniformly light pale; epiproct and genital plate grayish brown; paraprocts and cerci brown with pale brown cercal bases.

Female. General appearance as in male, but body dorsally distinctly lighter, armament of legs very insignificantly different, seventh abdominal tergite with barely distinct posteromedian process ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ), each paraproct with short and almost conical process at apex ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ), genital plate and ovipositor as in Figs 2B–D View FIGURE 2 .

Measurement (mm). Body length 30.8 (male), 31.0 (female); pronotum length 9.1 (male), 9.2 (female); fore femur 24.7 (male), 26.6 (female); hind femur 42.9 (male), 47.0 (female); hind tibia 50.1 (male), 52.9 (female); hind basitarsus; 9.0 (male), 10.0 (female); ovipositor 26.0.

Etymology. This species is named in honor of Prof. Sergey Yurievich Storozhenko, well known specialist on Asiatic Orthoptera .
