Phylogenetic relationships of the genus Blarinella .

This is the first phylogenetic study to include all three species of Blarinella . Our results supported the monophyly of Blarinella and the sister-relationship between Blarinellini (Blarinella) and Blarinini , consistent with previous studies ( Ohdachi et al. 2006; Dubey et al. 2007). In addition, we found that B. wardi and B. quadraticauda were monophyletic groups, whereas B. griselda was a paraphyletic group.
