Notes:— There are two specimens of Ficus dulciaria (COL 3876, COL 3877) and two of Ficus dulciaria var. antioquensis (COL 3878, COL 3879) in Herbario Nacional Colombiano (COL) labelled as type. According to the ICNAFP ( McNeill et al. 2012, Art. 9.1), a holotype of a name of a species is a single specimen, i.e., a single herbarium sheet (Art.8.2) or more than one preparation with the parts clearly labelled as being part of the same specimen (Art.8.3). Dugand (1942) did not labelled these specimens as being part of a single specimen, thus, they are duplicates and lectotypes are needed (Art. 9.1 and 9.2). We choose the specimen COL 3876 as a lectotype for F. dulciaria because this herbarium sheet has syconia; and the specimen COL 3879 as a lectotype for F. dulciaria var. antioquensis because it is the best specimen comprising a stem.
