Host and locality in Australia: Psephotus varius and Ps. haematonotus, Gawler Ranges , South Australia (Dabert et al. 2008).

Current name of host: Mulga Parrot, Psephotellus varius (Clark, 1910) ; Red-rumped Parrot, Ps. haematonotus (Gould, 1838) ( Psittaciformes : Psittaculidae ).

Notes: Dabert et al. (2008) used the incorrect spelling psephotus for this species as well as the correct spelling psephoti .
