Host and locality in Australia: Melopsittacus undulatus, Brisbane , Queensland; Waddell, Victoria; Adelaide, South Australia ( Seddon 1968; Mason 1980; Domrow 1992); sulphur-crested cockatoo Cacatua galerita , Queensland ( Portas et al. 2017).
Current name of host: Budgerigar, Melopsittacus undulatus (Shaw, 1805) ( Psittaciformes : Psittaculidae ); Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, Cacatua galerita (Latham, 1790) ( Psittaciformes : Cacatuidae ).
Unidentified specimens in this genus: Knemidocoptes sp.
Host and locality in Australia: Zebra finch Taeniopygia guttata, Melbourne ( Chamings et al. 2015) .
Current name of host: Australian Zebra Finch, Taeniopygia castanotis (Gould, 1837) ( Passeriformes : Estrildidae ).
