Phyllodictyon J.E. Gray (1866: 69) . Phyllodictyon anastomosans (Harvey) Kraft & M.J. Wynne (1996: 139) . TAXONOMIC STATUS: According to Pedroche et al. (2005) and Guiry & Guiry (2014) this name is currently taxonomicaly valid; however no one has recently reviewed the taxonomic status in the Gulf of California.

RECORDS IN THE GULF OF CALIFORNIA: Punta Arena and Cabo Pulmo ( Mateo-Cid et al. 2000, table 1).

Phyllodictyon pulcherrimum J.E. Gray (1866: 70) .

TAXONOMIC STATUS: According to Pedroche et al. (2005), Norris (2010) and Guiry & Guiry (2015), this species name is taxonomicaly valid.

RECORDS IN THE GULF OF CALIFORNIA: ND ( González-González et al. 1996: 139, as Struvea ramosa ), Bahía de Los Ángeles, Punta Pescador and Puerto Peñasco ( Leliaert et al. 2008: 8, table 3), Punta Concepción ( Dawson 1966a: 55, as S. ramosa ), Northern Gulf ( Norris 2010: 70). Unpublished data: Castillo-Álvarez (1990: 91, table 1, as S. ramosa ).

Phyllodictyon robustum (Setchell & N.L. Gardner) Leliaert & Wysor in Leliaert et al. (2008).

TAXONOMIC STATUS: Norris (2010) and Guiry & Guiry (2014) regarded this name as taxonomicaly valid. However, no one has recently reviewed the taxonomic status.
