Cladophoropsis gracillima E.Y. Dawson (1950b: 149 , 151).

TAXONOMIC STATUS: According to Norris (2010) and Guiry & Guiry (2014) the name C. gracillima is currently accepted taxonomicaly.

Cladophoropsis membranacea (Hoffman, Bang & C. Agardh) Børgesen (1905: 289) .

TAXONOMIC STATUS: According to Pedroche et al. (2005) and Guiry & Guiry (2014) the name C. membranacea is accepted taxonomicaly. However, no one has recently reviewed the taxonomic status.

Cladophoropsis robusta Setchell & N.L. Gardner (1924: 714–715) .

TAXONOMIC STATUS: According to Leliaert et al. (2008), Norris (2010) and Guiry & Guiry (2014) this species is now considered a taxonomic synonym of P. robustum ; however no one has recently reviewed the taxonomic status. Also see coments under P. robustum .
