RECORDS IN THE GULF OF CALIFORNIA: Punta Palmilla and Cabeza Ballena ( Dawson 1949: 246).

TAXONOMIC STATUS: According to Pedroche et al. (2005) and Guiry & Guiry (2014) this name is currently taxonomicaly valid; however no one has recently reviewed the taxonomic status.
