Type locality. Calcutta, West Bengal, India
Description. Trophozoite measures 135.8 − 429.0 µm ×58.2–97.5 µm with variable form, elongated, one end rounded, the other end pointed. Nucleus spherical and measures 25 µm in diameter. Gametocyst spherical and 135 µm in diameter. Oocysts spindle shaped with blunt end measuring 15.43 − 8.24 µm.
