Distribution. Chen (1933) obtained this species from “ Anching, Anhwei and Pukow, Kiangsu ” in China and Kobayashi (1937) claimed it from Jeju-do whence new sub-species were described by Blakemore (2013a) even though the nominal type is unconfirmed from that island.
