Distribution. WIDESPREAD IN EUROPE (KAILA 2011B). IN CAUCASUS KNOWN ONLY fROM KRASNODAR KRAI Of RUSSIA (SHCHUROV 2004B; SINEV 2008).

Remarks. Elachista kilmunella STAINTON, 1849 REPORTED BY SHCHUROV (2004B) WAS BASED ON MISIDENTIfICATION Of E. atricomella .
