Peru:
• 13°25′S, 71°51′W; 3,000 m asl: Type Locality: Cusco Region, Pisac near Cusco, mixed mosses and lichens on rock. Kaczmarek et al. (2014b)
Record numbers: Peru: 1; total: 1.
Remarks: Currently endemic to Peru, this species belongs to the Paramacrobiotus areolatus group (see: P. areolatus above and P. richtersi below).
