Type species: Discoderes aurulans Obenberger, 1922 View in CoL (fixed by original designation).
Comments. Both species in this genus were described from “Capland”, presumbably the old Cape Province of South Africa, ( Obenberger 1922). The new records below increase our understanding of the distribution for both species.
