Stegana (Steganina) hirticeps sp. nov.

( Figure 5 View Figure 5 )

Diagnosis

This species is similar to S. rhomboica sp. nov. in the cercus lacking pubescence, the shapes of paramere and aedeagus, can be differentiated from it by having the surstylus with serrated, minute processes on outer surface ( Figure 5A View Figure 5 ), the dorsal projection of

gonopods globosely expanded ( Figure 5D, E View Figure 5 ), the aedeagal opening with pubescence medially and apically ( Figure 5C, D View Figure 5 ).

Description

Frons dark brown, lacking minute setulae. Fronto-orbital plate yellow above, brown below. Pedicel and first flagellomere mostly brown. Face black on upper two-thirds, yellow on lower margin. Clypeus yellow. Scutum medially brown in male and dark female, laterally yellow. Basisternum yellow. Scutellum brown, sometimes slightly yellow at tip.
