Stegana (Steganina) sphaerica sp. nov.
( Figure 10 View Figure 10 )
Diagnosis
This species is similar to S. eurystoma sp. nov. in the cercus pubescent and the surstylus without prensiseta and serrated, minute processes on outer surface ( Figure 10A View Figure 10 ), can be differentiated from it by having the hypandrium with two expanded processes
per inner side ( Figure 10C View Figure 10 ), the dorsal projection of gonopods slender and acute ( Figure 10F View Figure 10 ), the aedeagus with serrated, minute processes ( Figure 10C View Figure 10 ).
Description
Frons brown to dark brown, lacking minute setulae. Fronto-orbital plate brownish yellow, Pedicel mostly yellow; first flagellomere brown. Face black on upper twothirds, yellow on lower margin. Clypeus brown medially, yellow laterally. Scutum black medially, brownish yellow laterally. Katepisternum brownish on anterior corner. Basisternum nearly brown. Scutellum brown to black. Fore femur with one row of four or five suberect setae on ventral surface. Abdominal tergites brown to black. Sternites dark brown, slightly wider than length. Male terminalia: tenth sternite bilobate medially ( Figure 10B View Figure 10 ). Hypandrium slightly roundly expanded anteromedially ( Figure 10C View Figure 10 ). Paramere indistinguishable, with five or six sensilla ( Figure 10C, D View Figure 10 ). Aedeagus broadened distally, with pubescence anteromedially on opening ( Figure 10C, D View Figure 10 ).
