ARDABIL: Firuzabad, 1 specimen, 9.viii.2002 ; near Kivi , 2 specimens, 8.vii.2002 ; 5-20 km E of Kivi, 8.-9.viii.2002. ZANJAN: Gilankesh 15 km NW of Gilvan , 1 specimen, 26.-27.vii.2004 .
Comments. In hilly forests, steppes, and gardens. On Asteraceae . North-Mediterranean, extending to Central Europe, Egypt, and the Middle East.
