Material studied. 1 male, BRAZIL, Bahia, Camacan, RPPN Serra Bonita, 15°24’54.45”S, 39°29’58.81”W, 29.i.2009, light trap, leg.: Calor et al. 2 males, São Paulo, Salesópolis, Estação Biológica de Boracéia, 23°31’55”S, 45°50’45”W, 13.x.2001, light trap, leg.: Froehlich, C.G. 2 males, Santa Catarina, Grão Pará, Parque Estadual Serra Furada, córrego CAPEA, 28º11’26”S, 49º23’30”W, 16.xi.12 –07.i.2013, Malaise trap, leg.: Pinho. L.C., Novaes, M.C & Haddad, M.F. ( MZUSP).
Distribution. This species was previously recorded from Costa Rica; in the present study the species is recorded for the first time from Brazil, where it has been collected in the States of Bahia, Santa Catarina and São Paulo.
