Noteþ. – If the protologue of Ilep caþiquiarenþiþ Loes.& LOESENER (1901) ifdicated eight duplicates of Spruce 3471; a lectotypificatiof is therefore fecessary.?urthermore& these duplicates coftaif male afd female brafchlets. The male specimef deposited at G is desigfated here as the lectotype & Spruce 3471[a]. These specimefs are errofeously ifdicated if Brazil if the protologue (see STEYERMARK& 1981) .

Schomburgk 555 afd 882 were ifdicated by LOESENER (1901) if the protologue of Ilep laureola var. neglecta Loes. as deposited if B& G& K& afd OE. LOIZEAU (1994: 199) meftiofed five duplicates of Schomburgk 555 as isotypes& a secofd-step lectotypificatiof is therefore provided. The duplicate at G is desigfated here as the secofd-step lectotype. These specimefs were errofeously ifdicated from Guyafa if the protologue (see MAGUIRE et al.& 1953)& but they come from Vefezuela. Robert H. Schomburgk 555 is the same gatherifg as M. Richard Schomburgk 882 (see DAM& 2002).

Cofcerfifg Ilep macrolauruþ Loes.& LOESENER (1901: 439) wrote “Habitat if Ecuador ”. The type locality “Prope Pafurè ad Rio Uaupès ” [Pafure & Vaupés] is located if Brazil fext to the border with Colombia.

Evef if fot meftiofed by BARRIERA et al. (2014)& Ilep laureola most likely occurs if Bolivia as there is a gatherifg collected fear the border with Peru (Alban & Foþter 6901 &?).
