Hexapinus latus Rahayu & Ng, 2014 View in CoL
( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 C)
Hexapus sexpes View in CoL — Tesch 1918: 240 (part) (not Cancer sexpes Fabricius, 1898 ). Hexapinus latus Rahayu & Ng, 2014: 416 View in CoL View Cited Treatment , figs. 16, 17.
Material examined. Indonesia: 1 female (7.3 × 4.2 mm) (NNM-ZMA Crust De 241762b), station 37, Sailus Ketjil, Paternoster Islands (= Balabalagan Islands), up to 27 m, coll. M. Webber, Siboga Expedition, 1899 (identified as Hexapus sexpes ).
Remarks. The present female specimen ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 C) is relatively smaller than the type female, and is proportionately less broad. It nevertheless agrees well with H. latus , which was previously known only from Lombok, in the smooth dorsal surface of the carapace, the presence of only one lobe on the carapace posterolateral margin, and in the proportions of the merus and ischium of the third maxilliped ( Rahayu & Ng 2014: 418).
