General distribution. Europe: Greece. West Asia: Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Turkey ( Zapparoli 2002; Minelli et al. 2006).
Chorotype. E-Mediterranean (EME).
Records in Peloponnisos ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 ). Argolida: Nafplio (loc. typ. of Lithobius macrops Karsch, 1888 ) (1, 2, 3, 4, 5); Tirintha (3, 4, 5).
New records from Mt. Parnonas ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 ). 1 ex., Arkadia, Kastanitsa by the village (loc. 18), 850 m, N37.266372 / E22.648945, 28 Oct. 2014.
Ecological notes. 0–850 m; a thermophilous species, under Quercus coccifera and Juniperus scrubs, in open Mediterranean habitats, in shore habitats, in saltworks, and in agroecosystems ( Zapparoli 1994, 1996).
