( Figs 1C View FIGURE 1 , 6D View FIGURE 6 )
Diagnosis. This species is easily recognized by having harpe strongly incurved anteriorly, the aedeagal outer lobe outer lobe very wide, the lateral, and the dorsolateral part of the cover plate very narrow, and the aedeagal ventral valve short.
Description. Head. Mandible with three distal teeth. Median clypeal lobe trapezoidal, with one angulate tooth; median clypeal carina low in profile, incomplete apically, straight in profile or nearly so. Frons weakly coriaceous, punctures small and sparse. Vertex crest weakly incurved. Dorsal pronotal area with anterior margin ecarinate. Tergal process submedian, consisting of tuft with few setae, without depression. Posterior hypopygeal margin sinuous. Genitalia. Harpe very wide basally, apical margin truncate, abaxial margin not projected; gonostipes shorter than harpe, ventral margin not excavated until outer margin of basivolsella; digitus long, basidorsal corner poorly projected; basivolsella without protuberance, without spines; aedeagal ventral valve with apex anterior to apex of dorsal one, wide, abruptly narrowing apicad; inner margin straight; outer margin straight, parallel; aedeagal dorsal valve narrow, with two pairs of apical lobe; outer lobe long, wide, apical margin rounded, and ventrad; apex of inner median filament anterior to apex of lobe, directed posterad; basal cover plate narrow in lateral part, posterior margin slightly incurved medially; apodeme not extending beyond genital ring.
Variations. Tergal process little setose.

( MPEG) ; 1♂, Mineração Alcoa, Capiranga 30.V–3.VI.2008 arm. Malaise, J. N Santos & L. A Quaresma col. ( MPEG) .
Distribution. Brazil (Pará).
Etymology. This species is named after Nísia Floresta, an educator and writer, considered the first Brazilian feminist.
Remarks. It is similar to D. evaristoae sp. nov. by having the dorsal margin of harpe very incurved anteriorly, the basal cover plate very narrow in lateral parts, and the digitus wide. However, D. nisiae sp. nov. has the aedeagal dorsal lobes wide, the apical margin of the outer lobes rounded, and the gonostipes narrow, whereas D. evaristoae sp. nov. has the aedeagal dorsal lobes narrow, the apical margin of the outer lobes acute, and the gonostipes wide.
