Plathanocera bicoloriceps Pic, 1932
( Figs 7–8 View FIGURE 7 View FIGURE 8 )
Pic 1932: 9.
We were unable to locate any type specimens of P. bicoloriceps ; the available specimens (some of which were determined by Pic) did not show any differences to P. uniformis . Formal synonymy of the two species, however, must await the discovery of type material.
Plathanocera bicoloriceps: Coll. Mus. Congo, Mayidi, 1945, Rév. P. Van Eyen (2. Ex., MNHN) ; Coll. Mus. Congo, Mayidi , 1945, Rév. P. Van Eyen (1 Ex., NCBN); Coll. Mus . Congo, Bas-Congo: Lemfu , 10.12.1944, Rév. P. De Beir (1 Ex., NCBN) .
