Remarks. ♀. Body length 13 mm. Flagellum with 38–45 flagellomeres, moderately lanceolate; 1 st flagellomeres 4.0 × longer than wide, widest flagellomere 1.6 × wider than long. OED 1.7 × and OOD 0.8 × ocellar diameter. Mesopleuron striate ventrally and punctate dorsally, metapleuron striate-punctate. Apophysis and apical extension of lateral carina of scutellum long. Hind femur 5.0 × longer than wide. Colour red. Flagellum black, basal flagellomeres ± red, flagellomeres 7–14 ivory dorsally. Mandible, clypeus and face ± reddish-yellow. Hind tarsus red or ± brownish. Wings slightly yellowish; pterostigma ochreous.
♂: Body length 12–16 mm. Flagellum with 40–43 flagellomeres, bristle-shaped. 1 st flagellomere 3.7 × longer than wide. Tyloids on flagellomeres 9/10–13/15, long-oval, maximally 0.8 × as long as their flagellomeres. OED 1.8 × and OOD 0.7 × ocellar diameter. Mesopleuron and metapleuron finely rugose-punctate. Hind femur 4.5 × longer than wide. Colour red. Flagellum black, ± brownish ventrally. Mandible, clypeus, face and gena reddish-yellow. Hind tibia ± infuscate apically; hind tarsus black. Pterostigma reddish.
Distribution. Widespread in the Oriental region, known from Sulawesi.
