Description. Length (including wings): male 3.3–3.5mm.

Crown ochraceous; face mainly yellowish-white, lower part light ochraceous, anteclypeus and gena white, ocelli hazel ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 K, L). Pronotum and mesoscutum dark brown, lateral margin yellowish; scutellum light yellow. Forewing hyaline with brown tinge, broad band along costa except for a subapical semi-heart-shape, black ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 J). Mesepimeron brownish. Legs and hind leg macrosetae yellowish-white.

Male genitalia. Pygofer broad, with height more than length. Appendage of segment X slender, at 1/4th curved posteriorly, hook-like, in posterior view crossing over each other. Subgenital plate narrow, with a few hair-like seta on dorsal margin ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 A). Connective similar to Busonia fusca sp. nov.. Style with angular process and a few setae on ventral margin. Aedeagus dorsal margin broad, concave, shaft tapering apically in lateral view; shaft apex rounded, broadened subapically, compressed subbasally in ventral view ( Figs. 4 View FIGURE 4 D, E).

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the milky-coloured face.

Material examined. Holotype: ♂, THAILAND, Kamphaeng Phet Mae Wong NP Chong Yan, N16°5.212′ E99°6.576′, 2008-iii-17-24, coll. Piluek C, Malaise trap ( QSBG); Paratype: 1♂, THAILAND, Kamphaeng Phet Mae Wong NP Chong Yen N16°5.212′ E99°6.576, 1306m, 2008-iii-17-24, coll. Piluek C., Malaise trap ( QSBG); 2 ♂♂, THAILAND, Kamphaeng Phet Mae Wong NP Chong Yen N16°5.968′ E99°6.472′, 1306m, 2007-xii-1-3, coll. Chumpa Piluk & Aram Inpuarg, Malaise trap ( INHS).

Remarks. B. lactata sp. nov. has the aedeagal shaft similar to that of B. micrata sp. nov. (see below), but can be distinguished from the latter by the face being yellowish-white and scutellum light yellow, and the aedeagus broadened subapically and compressed subbasally in ventral view.
