Etymology. From the Latin cincinnus meaning a curled hair and referring to the form of the spermathecal duct.

Diagnosis. The form of the mesoventral collar and the spermatheca distinguish this species.

Type data: Holotype: ♂, Bolivia, Santa Cruz, Amboro National Park, Los Volcanoes, c. 1000m, S. 18° 06' W.63° 36', 20/xi–12/xii/2004, MV light sheet, Barclay, M.V.L. & Mendel, H. ( BMNH). Paratypes: 2 exs, same data as holotype ( BMNH); 18 exs, Bolivia, Santa Cruz, Amboro National Park, Los Volcanoes, c. 1000m, S. 18°06' W.63°36', 20/xi–12/xii/2004, Flight Interception Trap, Mendel, H. & Barclay, M.V.L. ( BMNH); ♀, GPS36, BOL / Nov 2013/11, Bolivia 2013, Santa Cruz dep., W. Amboro NP, Barientos, 1817m, 29.xi, S. 18°06'00" E.63°48'05", sifting litter, Winkler app. extr., P.Baňař lgt.
