Material examined. AL: Lawrence Co., unknown site, 28 May 1985, S.C. Harris, 1 ♂ ( BPS) .
Epiproct. Length from base to tip, ca. 239 μm. Greatest width, ca. 63 μm. Epiproct cowl without enlarged lobes but base extending almost to midlength; epiproct widest near midlength and slightly narrowed in apical third. Most of dorsal surface covered with dense setal mat; apex mostly bare but a narrow median hirsute band extends almost to tip. Margins of apical area serrate, bearing eight teeth on each side; apex also armed with a small, upturned hook. Lateral aspect of epiproct curved downward from base to midlength and curved slightly upward beyond midlength.
