DÉTERMINATION. — Morphologique.Moléculaire (BOLD:AAB2431).

LOCALITÉ TYPE. — Suriname (Cramer 1777).

RÉPARTITION GÉOGRAPHIQUE. — Guyano-amazonienne et région andine orientale ( Lemaire 2002).

REMARQUES TAXONOMIQUES. — Cerodirphia paraspeciosa Brechlin, 2017 est une espèce jumelle de Cerodirphia speciosa récemment décrite de Guyane. Les données sur la distribution et l’habitat de Cerodirphia speciosa sont présentées sous toutes réserves.

DISTRIBUTION EN GUYANE. — Connu des trois zones biogéographiques. La donnée de Cayenne ( Lemaire 2002) n’a pas été confirmée.

HABITAT EN GUYANE. — Forêt primaire.
