GOBIIDAE View in CoL View at ENA

Gobiusculus flavescens (Fabricius, 1779) View in CoL , old citations of this species in the Adriatic are to be considered erroneous ( Kovačiċ, 2005); Miller (1986) considered doubtful all Mediterranean records, including the report of this species as G. ruthensparri View in CoL from Sicily ( Sanzo 1911).

Mesogobius batrachocephalus (Pallas, 1814) View in CoL , occurs inshore in estuaries and brackish lagoons (rarely in freshwater) of Black Sea, Sea of Azov and Caspian Sea ( Miller, 1986).
