Murmidius rectistriatus species group
Body elongate oval, weakly convex; anterior clypeal margin smooth; pronotum with lateral margins moderately strongly convergent anterad; lateral and sublateral pronotal impressions absent; distance between mesocoxae shorter than between meso- and metacoxa and lateral regions of metaventrite between metaventral femoral line and metacoxa subquadrate, covered with large foveate punctures; lateral carina of mesoventral plate absent; antennal club weakly elongate, 1.5 × as long as broad; tarsomeres 1–3 with short, inconspicuous setae; elytra with distinct rows of punctures; hind wings functional.
This group comprises one species sola , M. rectistriatus , that inhabits Mexico.
