Genus Graptopeltus Stål, 1872 View in CoL

Graptopeltus Stål, 1872: 57 View in CoL (as subgenus of Pachymerus View in CoL ); Le Quesne, 1957:58 (as genus); Péricart, 1999 (as subgenus of Rhyparochromus View in CoL ). Type species by subsequent designation (Oshanin, 1912: 37): Cimex lynceus Fabricius, 1775 .

Diagnosis. Recognized by body broadly oval, slightly covered with pubescence; compound eyes touching anterior margin of pronotum; clavus with closely spaced dark punctures in four rows; corium with distinct dark spot in middle area; membrane reaching to apex of abdomen, with distinctly curved five veins ( Figs. 1 View FIGURES 1 A–B, 3) ( Péricart, 1999).
