Head greyish brown, with erect white scales laterally. Antenna with scape elongate, brown; flagellum creamy white dorsally, with distinct dark brown annulations. Second segment of labial palpus thickened, yellowish brown; third segment slender, longer than second, yellowish brown.
Thorax greyish brown, mixed with fuscous scales; tegula yellowish brown. Forewing with costal margin almost straight beyond basal 1/3, oblique ventrad beyond 4/5; basal streak on costal margin short, dark brown, reaching about 1/5 length of costal margin; ground color yellowish brown, markings dark brown: median patch sub-triangular, anteriorly obtuse, not reaching costal margin, both inner and outer margins oblique, outer margin edged with pale yellow line; discocellular stigma clavate, dilated anteriorly; subterminal patch trapezoidal, inner margin about 1/3 length of outer margin, outer margin reaching both costal margin and dorsum, edged with orangewhite line; narrow, dark brown stripe extending from below discocellular stigma oblique downward to lower corner of subterminal patch; terminal zone orange-white, with scattered fuscous scales; black line from beyond subterminal patch along costal margin through termen to before tornus; apex triangularly produced; termen concave below apex; fringe yellow, tipped with brown. Hindwing greyish brown, with yellowish brown scales along veins; apex more or less acute; fringe greyish brown, with narrow orange-white basal line. Foreleg with femur and tibia brown ventrally, pale orange dorsally, tarsus yellowish brown; midleg with femur yellowish brown, tibia white, with two brown bands dorsally at base and near apex; hindleg with femur yellowish brown, tibia yellowish brown on inner surface, deep brown with yellow band subterminally on outer surface; tarsi of mid- and hindlegs yellowish brown except 1 st tarsus brown dorsally at middle, 2 nd and 3 rd tarsi brown dorsally at base.
Male genitalia ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9–15 ). Uncus elongate-triangular, sparsely setose along lateral margin, bent ventrad apically. Gnathos with median process broad basally, tapered to apex, bent ventrad beyond middle. Valva broad at base, narrowed to middle; costa deeply concave before middle; ventral margin shallowly concave beyond end of sacculus; sacculus broad at base, sub-triangular, about 1/3 length of ventral margin; cucullus sub-triangular, narrowed to round apex, densely setose, obtusely rounded around lower corner, outer margin oblique, slightly arched. Juxta sub-quadrate, broadly concave on caudal margin, with a small, sharply tipped triangular plate arising from near caudal margin medially; anterior margin obtusely rounded with a small process at middle; lateral process arising from posterior 1/5, short, digitate, with long setae apically. Vinculum narrow, banded. Aedeagus approximately as long as valva, broad at base, curved at about basal 1/4, narrowed from basal 1/4 to apex, with three heavily sclerotized denticles before apex on ventral surface; cornuti consisting of a cluster of minute granules.
Female unknown.
Diagnosis. This species is similar to D. anatoliana sp. nov. both in superficial and male genital characters, but it can be distinguished from the latter in the male genitalia by the juxta having a triangular plate, and the outer margin of the valva obtusely arched; in D. anatoliana sp. nov., the juxta lacks a triangular plate, and the outer margin of the valva is slightly concave medially.
Distribution. China (Xizang).
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin acutangulatus, referring to the sharply tipped triangular plate of the juxta in the male genitalia.
