Studied Material. Loc. 10. 2 ex., 3.X.1987 (holotype and paratypes).
It is known only from the type locality, Burkarrutz I cave in Alto Bidasoa, Navarra ( Beruete et al. 1994, Jordana et al. 1997, Beruete 2000a), and it has not appeared in other nearby caves located within a radius of 500 m.
